STEP 1: CANDIDATES WILL CREATE AN ONLINE PROFILE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A candidate\u2019s application will then be ranked based on many factors including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Age<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Education<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Years of work experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Official Language (English or French ability)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Spousal\/ partner attributes, if applicable<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Canadian work\/ study experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. A qualifying job offer<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. A nomination from a province<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Candidates must submit a valid language test and an Educational Credential Assessment (if education is outside of Canada).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    STEP 2: THE HIGHEST-RANKING CANDIDATES WILL BE INVITED TO APPLY FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    IRCC select candidates by issuing an Invitation to apply (ITA). Invitations are issued on a regular basis every 2-4 weeks.  If invited, a candidate has 60<\/strong> days<\/strong> to submit an online application for Permanent Residence. IRCC will usually process this application within 6 months. Once an application is submitted, all information within a candidate\u2019s profile is \u2018locked\u2019 and cannot be changed. Invited Candidates must still meet eligibility and admissibility requirements under Canada\u2019s Immigration Law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Completing an online Express Entry profile or entering the pool doesn\u2019t guarantee that we\u2019ll invite you to apply for permanent residence. If any mistakes were made in the Express Entry profile that resulted in more points than a candidate should have received, then the application could be denied even if all other criteria for immigration are met. It is important to complete your profile accurately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A candidate can stay in the pool for up to a year and resubmit their profile if not invited.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
