{"id":2511,"date":"2024-06-07T18:12:23","date_gmt":"2024-06-07T18:12:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newcanimm.com\/newcan\/?page_id=2511"},"modified":"2024-06-13T17:34:11","modified_gmt":"2024-06-13T17:34:11","slug":"federal-skilled-worker-program","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/newcanimm.com\/index.php\/federal-skilled-worker-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Federal Skilled Worker Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER PROGRAM<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Federal Skilled Worker Program is one of Canada\u2019s most popular immigration streams.<strong>This program does not require a job offer in order to be eligible, nor does it require Canadian work experience or a Canadian relative, making it the number one choice for prospective immigrants from around the world<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order toqualify for FSWProgram, anapplicant must meet the following minimum requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Work Experience<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>At least 12-months of continuous, full-time, skilled work experience completed within the previous 10 years (or an equal amount in part-time experience)under NOC Skill Level 0, A, or B<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Language Proficiency<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Reach a minimum of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 on an approved English or French language test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Education<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>A minimum of a Canadian high school diploma or the equivalent in foreign education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Settlement Funds<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Enough funds to support themselves and any spouse and\/or children in settlement in Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Residence in Canada<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Must intend to live outside of the province of Quebec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To be eligible for the FSWProgram, candidates must score a minimum of 67 out of 100 points on this points grid. Six factors are considered under the FSWProgram points gridmay be outlined as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Factor 1: English and\/or French language ability\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Factor 2: Education\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Factor 3: Skilled work experience\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Factor 4: Age\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Factor 5: Arranged employment in Canada\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Factor 6: Adaptability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you meet these minimum requirements, you may be eligible to submit an Express Entry profile.
