Skilled foreign workers and international students can apply for permanent residence in Atlantic Canada through AIPP. The AIPP Canada allows the applicants to live and work in one of Canada’s four Atlantic Provinces: Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.
Under AIPP program, employers that are designated by the Atlantic provinces will not need an LMIA to hire an eligible foreign worker.
The Atlantic employers hire qualified candidates for jobs that they have not been able to fill locally. The AIPP has three programs for employees High Skilled, Intermediate Skilled, and International Graduate categories.

The Applicant Requirements
To participate, applicants must meet following requirements,
–High-Skilled Workers
You must:
have worked in a management, professional or technical/skilled job for at least a year
have at least a Canadian high school diploma or equivalent education
take a language test to show you can communicate in English or French
show you can support yourself and your family when you come to Canada
–Intermediate-Skilled Workers
You must:
have worked in a job that requires a high school education and/or job-specific training for at least a year
have at least a Canadian high school diploma or equivalent education
take a language test to show you can communicate in English or French
show you can support yourself and your family when you come to Canada
–International Graduate
You must:
have a degree, diploma or other credentials from a publicly-funded institution in an Atlantic province
have lived in an Atlantic province for at least 16 months in the 2 years before getting your degree, diploma or credential
take a language test to show you can communicate in English or French
